During her years at Sarah Lawerence college, Lestimple falls for a girl named Hannah and they dated for 5 years before Hannah gets killed in a tragic lion accident at the zoo. This causes Lestimple to spiral into a deep depression, and eventually leads to her throwing herself into the very enclosure that took Hannah from her only months before. Charlie's Sister (Candace Kelmeckis) is a character in Perks Of Being Wallflower. She is Charlie's older sister, and is the middle child in the family. In the film, she is portrayed by Nina Dobrev.

She is passionate about women's rights, particularly after she is banned by her parents from seeing Derek. She graduates high school second in her year and goes on to study at a college called Sarah Lawrence.

Personality 

Candace is characterized by her brother Charlie as mean and he doesn't understand how so many boys would like her since she was so mean to them. Even though she is mean to Charlie, and sometimes their older brother, she actually is quite loving and understanding when she wants to be. She cares deeply for him. She is smart and caring.
